Cold Weather Tips for Exotic Pets

Most of our exotic pets are kept indoors.  There are some that are more susceptible to the cold weather.  For example, most reptiles are cold-blooded, meaning a captive reptile does not have the luxury of maintaining their body temperature within the range that it requires on it’s own.  They rely on us to provide an environment that allows them to stay healthy.

Click Here to see some tips on how to keep your exotic pet safe and warm during the cold weather.

If your exotic pet is exposed to the cold and you have concerns, call us at 302-998-2885 to make an appointment with one of our exotic veterinarians.
